our Vision
Our vision is to inspire young people to be science & technology leaders & innovators by engaging them in the most fun, entertaining, futuristic & educational way, and foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.

A theory never been built before in india. As pioneers in building a community of robots playing human sports, robovr would like to broach and increase awareness of robot sports in india. Join us to learn how to build robots who play human sports and compete against other robots in our annual robot sports competition.

WHY ROBOT SPORTS

Building STEM (Science, technology, engineering and mathematics) literacy and confidence is required to be successful in nearly every endeavor in today’s technology-rich society.

Our Vision of Robot Sports is more than just about Robots. The Robots are a vehicle for students to learn important life skills. Kids often come in not knowing what to expect – of the program nor of themselves. They leave, even after one session – with a vision, with confidence and with a sense that they can create their own future.

Korea, Japan, Germany & USA are among the leading countries to host & participate in Robot sports games.

Robot Sports is a next generation gaming craze which will be getting bigger every year. With a tv series on Battlebots, the Robo wars and movies like Real Steel, Robot Sports is on its way to capture the minds & hearts of millions.

Every big or small Sport Robot will contribute in making a students life more meaningful and relatable to the ever growing field of technology. By making these Robots, their mechanisms, using sensors and using artificial intelligence capabilities in these Robots, every single student in our community will make a difference in the Robotics R&D in India.

our STORY
BIRTH OF ROBOVR

Mrs. Supriya Rathi Bagri, the Founder & CEO of RoboVR, saw the scope of Robotics in India and decided to fill the gap by something fun & revolutionary. An MSc in Intelligent Robotics & a State level Basketball player, RoboVR was started in 2016 with a dream to combine her two passions, Robotics & Sports.
Supriya is determined to take RoboVR universally recognized as a visionary Robotics education institute & a leading Robot Sports competition from India to be organized worldwide. RoboVR is thus aiming to become the Olympics of Robots.

SPORTS ROBOTS WERE BORN

RoboVR started educating schools & college students through Robotic workshops in Mumbai. They now have a team which specializes in educating students in building Sports Robots.
In 2016, RoboVR became the pioneers in building a community of Robots playing Human sports against other Robots. The community is well connected & growing on our RoboVR Facebook page.

ROBOTICS IN INDIA

Robotics in India is assumed to be taken seriously only by tech experts & spoken by IT giants. RoboVR is here to change this vision of every Indian and show them that every citizen can be a part of the Robotics Revolution proceeding in India. They invite every citizen to come & experience their hands on the Robots that play human sports and feel the adrenaline rush of a game play of Robot vs. Robot & control their very own Bot. Technology is an inseparable part of one’s life. We state that because of the role of mobile phones in every individual’s life everywhere around the world. Robots will be the next big inseparable part of a human’s day to day chores.
