Event Summary: One on one drone face off. We are closing to mimic Quidditch from the magical lands of harry potter.
Play:
1. The game is between two drones in opposite teams. Each drone should have any light plastic hook or any kind of hook to pick up the balls. A light plastic thread is attached to each ball for ease of picking/ holding.
2. Both the drones start together. Each drone has to pick up balls from the center of the arena and put them in the opposite side of rings independently. The drone can make use of any mechanism to pick up these balls. The drones can put the balls in the ring either by a slide or any other method, without any human interface.
3. As it is the first of its kind, one team member can help only to load the ball on the drone. The drone should independently score the balls in the rings. The strings attached on the balls can be used to do so.
Defense:
Each drone can also defend its side by not letting the other drone put balls into its rings.
Score & Win:
With the drop of each ball into any of the 3 rings, the team scores 10 points. For any deliberate crashing of drones or unsafe disruption of the play, 20 points will be deducted from the respective drone’s team. The playtime is paused only if both the drones have crashed with each other & fallen apart on the ground.
